I’ve been using EditX for the past few weeks and I’m really loving how it handles things. Honestly, the UI feels much more modern than most other admin editors I’ve tried. It’s fast, doesn’t feel bloated, and does exactly what it says. What I like: The Addons system: I love that I can just toggle the Menu Editor or the Column Editor on/off independently. It keeps things very clean. Column Control: Being able to hide unnecessary columns in the Posts and Media lists is a lifesaver for cleaning up the workspace. Ease of use: Dragging and rearranging submenus is super smooth and intuitive. Regular Updates: From the very beginning, they have accepted feedbacks very positively and released feature updates and bug fixes regularly – a clear indication of another well-maintained plugin. A few things I’d love to see added: Export/Import: It would be great to be able to save my layout and “one-click” import it onto other sites I’m working on. Role-based columns: It would be even better if I could hide specific columns based on the user role (like hiding certain data from Editors but keeping it for Admins). Overall, it’s a solid 5-star plugin for anyone who hates a cluttered WordPress backend. Great job by the SoftTent team!
